Job Description
We’re looking for an accountant who thrives on tackling daily challenges with confidence, precision, and a positive attitude. If you approach tasks systematically, ensuring accuracy at every step, we want to hear from you!
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Process accounts receivable payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform month-end billing and reconciliation thoroughly and efficiently, or demonstrate eagerness to learn these processes.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Handle sensitive financial and organizational information with complete confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for our branded merchandising entity – our partners like knowing how much product they have.
- Complete sales and use tax returns.
- Address fellow team member and external customer questions – stay busy providing your expertise and send them on their way.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting or a related role.
- Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- High level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Eagerness to learn new processes and systems with adaptability to changes.
