Senior Sanitation Manager
1st Shift
Pay Range -$105-$110k 15% Annual Bonus
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Sanitation Manager to lead our plant’s cleaning and sanitizing operations. This role is key in ensuring full compliance with USDA standards, maximizing operational efficiency, and supporting overall plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee daily sanitation activities to maintain optimal plant operations.
- Compliance & Quality Control:
- Ensure adherence to company policies, USDA, and FDA regulations.
- Develop and implement sanitation procedures in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Conduct regular housekeeping audits and maintain GMP standards.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise, train, and develop sanitation personnel.
- Monitor employee practices related to cleanliness, sanitation, and pest control.
- Safety & Innovation:
- Lead safety training initiatives to comply with OSHA and company standards.
- Develop and implement new methods and systems to enhance sanitation performance.
- Documentation & Collaboration:
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and paperwork.
- Partner with production and maintenance teams to achieve plant objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sanitation-related role.
- At least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- SAP experience is an asset.
- Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is typically preferred.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work additional days/hours as needed.
