The Opportunity : We seek a highly motivated Business Development Manager to lead our efforts within the Department of the Air Force . Navigate Government Budget & Acquisition Processes : A deep understanding of military budget cycles , procurement timelines, and the federal acquisition process is essential for successful engagement with Air Force and joint defense customers. You will leverage your expertise to align Firestorm’s solutions with DoD budget cycles , research and development, and procurement opportunities, ensuring our products meet the government’s financial and regulatory requirements. Drive Growth & Build Relationships : Develop and execute business development strategies that target key Air Force programs. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders within the Air Force, DoD, and related agencies. Your network will be instrumental in expanding Firestorm’s reach and fostering strategic partnerships that lead to new opportunities. Proven Leader : 5 years of experience leading teams or critical organizational processes. Easily able to adapt to communication styles and drive business development efforts within the defense or aerospace industry , particularly focused on Air Force programs . You have a strong understanding of acquisition processes , budget cycles, and the key decision-making factors that shape government contracts. Expert Communicator : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical solutions to a non-technical executive audience . Your ability to tailor messaging for different stakeholders—from Air Force leadership to technical teams—will be key to your success.
