Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies; assist with ordering as necessary.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system; process payments efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Stay informed about drink specials, menu items, and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Experience in hospitality or bartending is preferred; familiarity with Aloha POS is a plus.
- Proficient in basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
