What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreation Assistant position at Firetree Place?
Responsibilities:
- Assist in set up and tear down of nets and hoops for open gyms
- Oversee programming
- Assist in watching youth during summer camp
- Opening and closing the facility
- Assist in programming as we continue to try to build more programs
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with individuals
- Must have interest in Recreation with an ability to be creative with possible new programming.
- Lifeguard certified or willingness to get certified (will pay if you pass)
- Be able to work mornings and nights and weekends when needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 18 per week
