Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of fire sprinkler systems, alarms, extinguishers, and backflow prevention devices.
• Test and evaluate the performance of fire protection systems to ensure they meet safety standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings, recommendations, and necessary repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance on fire safety equipment and systems as required.
• Educate clients on fire safety practices and protocols to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Stay informed about changes in fire safety codes and regulations to maintain compliance.
  
  

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Texas Fire Sprinkler (RME-I) licenses.
• Must possess a valid Texas Fire Alarm (FAL) licenses.
• Must possess a valid Texas Fire (FEL-B) Extinguisher licenses.
• Must possess a valid Texas Backflow Testers (BPAT)
• Proven experience in inspecting and testing fire sprinkler and alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal fire safety codes and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection assignments effectively.
• Physical ability to perform inspections, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
• Must have the ability to be able to walk into a live building with thousands of occupants and handle work without incident.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
