Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of fire sprinkler systems, alarms, extinguishers, and backflow prevention devices.
- Test and evaluate the performance of fire protection systems to ensure they meet safety standards.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings, recommendations, and necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance on fire safety equipment and systems as required.
- Educate clients on fire safety practices and protocols to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in fire safety codes and regulations to maintain compliance.
- Must possess a valid Texas Fire Sprinkler (RME-I) licenses.
- Must possess a valid Texas Fire Alarm (FAL) licenses.
- Must possess a valid Texas Fire (FEL-B) Extinguisher licenses.
- Must possess a valid Texas Backflow Testers (BPAT)
- Proven experience in inspecting and testing fire sprinkler and alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal fire safety codes and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection assignments effectively.
- Physical ability to perform inspections, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
- Must have the ability to be able to walk into a live building with thousands of occupants and handle work without incident.
