FireTron Inc. is seeking an experienced and dependable Fire Sprinkler Fitter Foreman to join our growing team. This leadership role involves supervising fire sprinkler installation crews, managing large-scale projects, and ensuring all work complies with fire protection codes and design specifications. The ideal candidate is a skilled pipefitter with strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee fire sprinkler installation field labor teams.
- Manage large projects with multiple crews.
- Execute installation of fire sprinkler design plans and communicate necessary changes to fit actual site requirements.
- Install and test fire sprinkler systems, fire suppression systems, new ground-up installations, retro-fit, and tenant improvement projects.
- Work closely with General Contractors, owner representatives, and FireTron’s superintendents and Project Managers.
- Attend General Contractor progress meetings as needed.
- Note and document change orders.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and coordinate on-site fabrication.
- Promote and enforce safety practices, including conducting weekly toolbox safety meetings.
- Represent FireTron professionally on project sites.
- Use a variety of hand tools, as well as electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
- Demonstrate commitment to team goals and lead by example in safety, efficiency, and quality.
- Communicate clearly with team members and project stakeholders.
- Exhibit sound decision-making in leadership, job planning, and customer service.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams and meet project deadlines.
- Must be a team player with a commitment to working safely and efficiently.
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary to meet job commitments.
- Ability to identify and stop unsafe practices on-site.
