Position Overview: We are currently looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to be the welcoming face of FireTuned Dispensary. This role requires excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage various tasks simultaneously while maintaining a calm and approachable demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify their medical cannabis registration and identification, and manage patient check-in procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all patient inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Manage and respond to incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries, providing accurate information or directing to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain an organized, tidy, and welcoming reception area.
- Assist with patient registration documentation, data entry, and ensuring compliance with all DC cannabis regulations.
- Schedule patient appointments, consultations, and manage dispensary calendars effectively.
- Support dispensary operations through clerical tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and document management.
- Monitor lobby area and coordinate with security personnel to maintain a secure and compliant environment.
Training & Development:
- 30 Days: Master core inventory management systems and compliance protocols.
- 60 Days: Implement and refine purchasing and merchandising strategies, enhance inventory accuracy, and begin cross-training team members.
- 90 Days: Fully integrate inventory management operations, demonstrating strategic foresight, continuous compliance, and proactive problem-solving capabilities.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old (DC regulation).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in customer service or office administration preferred.
- Previous experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or in customer service roles is highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain patient confidentiality and compliance at all times.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, scheduling software, and data management systems.
