What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hydraulic Project Manager position at Firman Solutions?
Requirement:
- Must-Have Skills for Hydraulic Project Manager:
Education & Certification:
- BS or MS in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
- North Carolina P.E. license (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in MicroStation, GEOPAK Drainage, and HEC-RAS
- Experience with Open Roads Designer and SUDA (preferred)
- Knowledge of NCDOT Guidelines for Drainage Studies and Hydraulic Design
- Familiarity with FHWA Hydraulic Design Manual
- Expertise in Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control Design
- NCDOT Level III Certification (preferred)
Project Management & Industry Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in transportation hydraulic design (preferably for NCDOT projects)
- Experience managing projects and working in multi-disciplinary engineering environments
