This individual should…
Have experience on commercial construction projects, hospitality/multi-family a bonus.
- Value integrity, professionalism, quality workmanship, and teamwork.
- Excel at adhering to deadlines, maintaining a clean jobsite, motivating subcontractors, and communicating effectively and respectfully.
- Possess a positive, dedicated work ethic, and a proven track record.
- Comfortable using technology and construction management software on a daily basis.
Responsibilities & Duties (May include but are not limited):
The Assistant Superintendent will support daily job-site operations to help ensure safe, successful, and timely project completion.
Job-site Management
- Provide on-site management and support.
- Help with deliveries, receivables, overseeing job site activities.
- Help to ensure high standards of workmanship to comply with plans, brand standards, and specifications.
- Interface with inspectors, officials, and project stakeholders in a courteous and professional manner.
Project Administration
- Assist with coordination activities to uphold schedule and budget as needed.
- Maintain an understanding of construction documents to best support team.
- Participate in construction meetings.
- Consistently communicate with team regarding project challenges and opportunities for optimization in a professional and collaborative style.
- Assist with project reports, logs, and admin work as required.
Health & Safety
- Enforce job-site safety protocol.
- Manage and enforce safety and “toolbox” meetings on site.
- Help maintain health-safety amenities on site (signage and other supplies).
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant commercial construction experience.
- OSHA30 and CPR Certification (or take class upon being hired).
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Solid professional references.

Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
