Role Description
Firmo is seeking an enthusiastic Project Manager with Ground-Up Commercial Construction experience to join our team! As a Commercial PM based in our Headquarter Office in Sarasota, FL, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of multiple construction projects, from pre-construction to closeout. This is an on-site full-time role in which you will oversee the project timeline, budget, and quality control while coordinating with subcontractors, architects, and clients to ensure project success. - Be proficient with construction management software

Responsibilities & Duties (include but are not limited to)
- Oversee and manage multiple projects (ground-up hotels, PIPs).
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and buyout.
- Prepare and issue project documentation, RFIs, POs, Scopes, etc.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all construction project documents, plans.
- Negotiate contracts
- Review all subcontractor’s draw requests and supplier invoices.
- Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge.
- Seek out opportunities, training or otherwise, to enhance skills.
- Mentor and guide direct reports to grow within.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in overseeing multiple construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Experience in managing and overseeing subcontractors and vendor relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- OSHA30 & CPR (or take class upon hire).
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is a PLUS.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Solid professional references.
