Job Overview:
The Regulatory Compliance Specialist at FABICash is responsible for ensuring that the company complies with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and internal policies. The role involves staying up-to-date with industry regulations, developing compliance programs, and conducting audits or assessments to ensure adherence. This role also coordinates company interaction with industry testing laboratories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitors federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards, to ensure the organization and its products comply with applicable laws. Interprets relevant regulations, standards, and best practices within the industry (e.g., Gaming (state/tribal), ISO, PCI, etc.)
- Coordinate, track and report all items, under review by industry testing laboratories, to involved teams and senior management.
- Design, implement, and maintain specific compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits of specific company processes, documents, and records to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements; assessing the organization’s exposure to legal and regulatory risks (e.g., Gaming (state/tribal), ISO, PCI, etc.).
- Oversee and assess third-party vendors to ensure that they comply with regulatory standards and organizational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, audits, assessments, and any corrective actions taken.
- Prepare reports on compliance activities and results for senior management or regulatory bodies.
- Make contact with regulatory and certification agencies and gaming authorities, as needed.
- Stay updated on best practices, changes in regulations, and innovations in regulatory compliance within the industry.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- Previous experience in regulatory compliance, auditing, or a related field (2 years).
- In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations (e.g., manufacturing, gaming, fintech, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex regulatory information.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present compliance issues to senior management.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), or similar.
- Experience with compliance software or auditing tools.
- Knowledge of specific regulatory requirements in a particular industry (e.g., gaming, fintech, manufacturing).
Physical Requirements of the Job
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk or workstation. The role may require occasional walking, bending, and standing for meetings or other office tasks.
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard and mouse effectively, answer telephones, and handle office materials (e.g., documents, filing).
- Ability to read printed documents and computer screens.
- Clear communication with coworkers, clients, and customers via phone, via online meetings, or in-person interactions is required.
