What We Do
First American is looking to add an Construction Coordinator to our growing commercial real estate team. In this role you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting assisting with the coordination of construction activities. This position plays a key role in transforming the commercial real estate experience by empowering our employees and customers to deliver next-generation solutions and results.
What You'll Do
- Provides a wide range of support within a functional area.
- Reviews sworn statements and waivers for completeness and correctness.
- Verifies information on sworn statements and waivers for validity.
- Reconciles waivers submitted with lender expectation, amounts previously paid and remaining monies.
- Determines amount to be paid at each draw upon review of supporting documentation.
- Disburses funds from lender draw to appropriate parties.
- Orders and reviews verbal updates prior to disbursement of any funds.
- Prepares commitment endorsement reflecting current status of title, taxes and insured amount.
- Raises any conditions on endorsements per verbal update.
- Responsible for clearing title impediments with lenders and owners prior to issuing a commitment endorsement.
- Follows functional area's processes and procedures in daily activities, troubleshoots as needed and recommends suggestions for continuous improvements to overall operations.
- Actively contributes to the results of a team and works toward achieving goals and objectives.
- Additional duties as requested by Management.
What You'll Bring
Pay Range : $21.62-$28.83 hourly
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
