The Facility Services Coordinator performs general housekeeping and custodial duties throughout all buildings including general maintenance tasks .
ESSENTIAL Duties And Responsibilities
Primary duties and responsibilities would include, but not necessarily be limited to:
- Maintain the appearance of Company property by cleaning grounds, picking up trash, and cleaning windows.
- Clean all restrooms, breakrooms and common areas.
- Clean cobwebs from manufacturing areas.
- Clean production areas and help maintain 5S Standards.
- Special projects.
- Dust horizontal/vertical surfaces.
- Empty and remove waste, trash receptacles, and office shredders; daily
- Pick up trash and remove it to the proper location.
- Damp wipe all furniture.
- Clean metal and porcelain fixtures in restrooms and break rooms.
- Dry and wet mop floors in offices, conference rooms, and break rooms.
- Vacuuming of all carpeted areas.
- Spot clean walls, windows, and metal surfaces.
- Replenish restroom supplies.
- Assist in cleaning of spills and other special projects.
- Scrub floors to remove all soil and floor finish from base floor.
- Refinish floors to a clean and glossy appearance, as needed.
- Spot clean and shampoo carpets as needed.
- Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and report all repairs needed (i.e. floor buffer, supply cart, and closet).
- Maintain water bottle racks, inventory, and cooler dispensers located throughout the facility.
- Observe and report the need of furniture or other building fixture repairs.
- Ability to communicate effectively to describe and explain specific problems to supervisor.
- Ensure all doors are locked or unlocked as scheduled and report all suspicious activities to management.
- Keep proper inventory of cleaning supplies including paper towels and toilet paper.
- Identify and repair improperly functioning equipment such as toilets, toilet seats, faucets, and other general maintenance tasks.
- Minimum 1-year experience in an industrial custodial environment
- Knowledge/experience in general maintenance and custodial tasks.
- Experience using power washer and sweeper scrubber is preferred.
- An ability to work a flexible schedule, to possibly include nights/weekends/holidays as required.
- Must be able to work a set schedule.
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision

- Must be trustworthy to work in areas that have sensitive, confidential information
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret written documents such as safety rules, material safety data sheets (SDS), drawings, oral instruction, and manuals.
- This position may require the exposure and handling of hazardous materials in sealed containers but does not require direct exposure to the hazardous materials.
- Must be able to work in high places by using a man lift (cobwebs from the ceiling, etc.)
- Able to work inside & outside in a variety of weather and conditions/ medium to heave work requiring standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting to a maximum of 100 lbs.
