GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Responsible for the administration and efficient daily operation of a full service branch office that services a deposit base up to $20,000,000 and with average monthly transactions that is less than 4,000 per month. Responsible for all operations of their specific branch, including hiring employees, ensuring proper training of employees, promotion of the bank's products and services, and meeting the company's goals and objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for the overall execution of the Retail Sales Process to ensure that deep relationships with new customers are achieved and that existing customer relationships are deepened by cross sales.
2. Ensures branch is performing with operational excellence to maximize efficiency and the customer experience.
3. Responsible for growing branch revenue through the offering of products/services and the collection of appropriate fees.
4. Leads by example and sets the tone for branch staff for personal commitment to the Company and its culture. Assures that sales/service behaviors of the branch are consistent with FAB&T core values and supportive of profitability objectives.
5. Track and manage service and operational performance metrics through monitoring of daily activities and reports; if necessary, develop, communicate and execute action plans to close gaps between goals and results.
6. Understands the mechanics of running a branch and is able to perform all the essential functions with a high degree of expertise, ensuring branch is operating consistently with all company practices, policies and procedures. Ensures all security procedures are strictly followed.
7. Active in the community as well as conducting business development activities that promote the good will and profitability of the Company.
8. Assists in the selection, development, training and retention of staff.
9. Shares ways to mitigate service delivery weaknesses and exploit potential service strengths to differentiate FAB&T in the market with Regional Manager and/or other key areas of the Company.
10. Conducts regular staff meetings to ensure consistent communication with branch personnel regarding retail sales, operational updates or concerns, etc.
11. Originate, input, and collect all necessary documents for Consumer Loan applications. Quote rates for consumer loans and close consumer loans once there have been a decision from an underwriter.
12. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is continuously required to talk or hear; regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; an. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; and color vision.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Understands and adheres to all compliance issues, attends training as required and related to this position, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, Privacy Act.
Experience
Required- Minimum one year experience in either retail or financial industry
- Minimum of 1.5 year management experience in either a retail or financial industry
- Experience in training and supervision
- Experience in sales and customer relations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education
Required- High School or better
Licenses & Certifications
Required- NMLS Registration
- Notary Public
