TITLE: Development Coordinator
STAFF LEVEL: Support Staff
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
STATUS: Full Time, 12 month
Overall Responsibilities
The Development Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the leadership of the Director of Development and the Development department in advancing LCA’s mission and fundraising goals. This position focuses on coordinating logistics for development events, managing administrative tasks, and assisting with donor and teacher appreciation efforts. Additionally, the Development Coordinator will assist in ensuring cohesive messaging and marketing strategies for development initiatives.
Principle Responsibilities

Event Coordination: Coordinate all logistics for development events, including:
- Venue selection and booking.
- Catering arrangements.
- Registration management (including pre-event sign-ups and day-of check-ins).
- Ensuring events align with the budget set by the Director of Development.
- Managing day-of-event operations to ensure smooth execution.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Administrative Support
- Handle purchasing requests and maintain accurate records of expenditures.
- Respond promptly and professionally to community inquiries related to development activities.
- Help prepare materials and coordination for meetings, including donor and board presentations.
- Maintain the database and organized records for development activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Donor and Teacher Appreciation
- Help with planning and executing donor recognition efforts to build strong relationships with supporters.
- Coordinate teacher appreciation initiatives to strengthen relationships with educators.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Marketing Collaboration
- Work with the Director of Development and Executive Assistant to the Head of School to develop marketing materials and campaigns for development events and initiatives.
- Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all development-related communications.

Certifications and Licensure
- First Aid/CPR a plus but not required
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in event planning, fundraising, or administrative support (nonprofit experience preferred).
