MARKETING SPECIALIST

MARKETING DEPARTMENT - MIAMI, FL

Essential Responsibilities

Essential Functions % TIME

Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and implement marketing plans for all products / service in the digital space.

Work with the agencies content / creative development for email marketing, e-drops, events, and digital demand generation advertising campaigns.

Successfully manage and execute marketing initiatives and small projects.

Act as a marketing subject matter expert providing best practices, trends and recommendations to marketing program managers and business partners

Prepares and executes marketing plans for assigned regions and / or lines of business under the supervision of his or her direct supervisor.

Provide support to other marketing program managers in the execution and analysis of marketing campaigns and promotions to improve overall results.

Processes routine paperwork, including compliance, legal, accounting and payables under direct instruction of immediate supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities -Functional Competencies

Highly motivated self-starter who can multi-task and respond to changing work activities with very short deadlines. Passionate about understanding consumers and developing marketing and communications programs

High proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint

Demonstrated of strong project management and organization skills.

Excellent English and Spanish written and oral communication skills are a must.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team – especially in complex and ambiguous work environments.

Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of ownership and accuracy in all work activities.

Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships within the marketing department and business units.

Capable of working under pressure and meet deadlines

Computer proficiency including MS Office

Creative abilities

Basic Accounting knowledge

Strong verbal and writing skills

Strong analytical skills

Marketing communication strategies

Fluent in English and Spanish

The incumbent must have a basic understanding of planning, coordination, and organization of marketing communication materials, including art development, communications and advertising; he or she also should have the ability to handle basic accounting matters.
