Summary: The Retail Banking Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Teller and CSR platforms. Duties include scheduling and conducting training for new hires and existing employees as needed, process and procedure management ensuring Tellers/CSRs have a clear guide to operation while protecting the bank both financially and civilly, while ensuring these roles are serving to help the bank achieve its strategic objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop thorough knowledge of bank products/services via training, Bank website, intranet information, etc.
- Schedules, coordinates and possibly conducts training for Retail Banking Staff.
- Schedules meetings, answers routine questions, and coordinates communication with Backoffice, Frontline Staff and Management on behalf of the Retail Banking Administrator.
- Administers sales and performance tracking for all retail employees
- Gathers all audit/survey information for external and internal audits for Branches
- Complies, creates and distributes the agendas for weekly and monthly meetings
- Receive and process incoming and outgoing branch cash shipments
- Review exceptions and provide reminders, as needed
- Assist in serving as a liaison between Backoffice and Frontline
- Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures and internal controls, and meet all job-specific requirements in a timely fashion
- Promote and maintain positive relations with all employees, contacts, customers, and potential customers.
Secondary or Additional Job Duties:
1. Administers special projects under direction of the Retail Banking Administrator requiring coordination with all areas of the bank

Experience and Other Requirements
- An associate degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) year banking experience (preferred)
- Documentation skills with attention to detail
- Must possess the ability to interact positively with all levels of the organization, including Management, the Board, Coworkers, and the Public.
5. Excellent oral, written, telephone, organizational and interpersonal communication skills required.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel.
7. Must be proficient using e-mail and the internet.
8. Proven record of problem-solving ability and ability to work independently
9. Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines
