Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Business Banker to join our team at First Bank. As a Junior Business Banker, you will play a key role in originating loans and building relationships with our customers.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service to each customer, gathering necessary information to complete loan applications, and reviewing loan documents to ensure First Bank is in first lien position.
- You will also be responsible for negotiating rates and terms of loans with customers and management within set guidelines, submitting loans for approval, and preparing and analyzing cash flows and loan reviews.
- Additionally, you will generate new loan volume by soliciting new business relationships and deepening relationships with existing customers, actively engaging customers in banking relationships through regular communication, and referring customers to the bank's new accounts area for deposit relationships.
Requirements:
- A 2-year degree in business, finance or equivalent experience is required; a 4-year degree in business, finance or a related field is preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills, great communication skills, and the ability to learn and understand complex concepts are essential for success in this role.
- Flexibility in time availability is also required as meetings with existing and prospective customers may occur outside of normal business hours.
