The Network Administrator helps the company to fulfill its vision by designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting of all network infrastructure including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs) and wireless networks. The Network Administrator also provides technical support to end-users, ensuring security measures are in place, collaborating with other IT teams, and helping drive organizational efficiency through technology.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Network Design and Implementation: Plan, design, implement, maintain and troubleshoot all network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, Wi-Fi networks, routers, switches, firewalls and related equipment.
-Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support to end-users on a wide range of IT issues, including network connectivity problems, hardware and software troubleshooting, and other technology-related concerns.
-Network Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect the company's network from unauthorized access or malicious activity, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, etc.
-System Administration: Assist with system administration tasks, including user account management, password resets, and basic server maintenance (e.g., patching, backups).
-Technology-Driven Efficiency Initiatives: Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for using technology to improve organizational efficiency and productivity; design, implement and maintain solutions that leverage automation, workflow optimization, data analytics, or other technologies to streamline business processes.
-IT Helpdesk Support: Provide support to end-users on a wide range of IT issues.
-Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of network configurations, security settings, and other relevant information; provide regular reports on network performance and any potential issues.
-Protects the bank and clients by following company policies and procedures.
-Performs other duties as assigned.

-Knowledge: Knowledge of Linux-based network devices (e.g., routers, switches)
-Work experience: Five years experience in a Network Administrator role; experience with Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory; experience with VMware; experience with SOAP/REST API calls; familiarity with IT helpdesk software and ticketing systems;
-Certifications: CCNA/CCNP or equivalent experience
-Management experience: n/a
-Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

Work Environment
-Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:45-4:45, plus a Saturday morning on call rotation from 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM. (Additional hours may be required for company meetings or training.)
-Travel Requirement: Over-night travel will be infrequent as some off-site training may be required.
-Remote Work: The job role is generally in-person. A personal or work crisis could prompt the role to become temporarily remote. Remote options are based on performance.
-Physical Effort: Because of occasional hardware deployment responsibilities, the employee will stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach overhead. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
