The Retail Banker-Team Lead helps the bank to fulfill its vision by maximizing the client experience, expanding client relationships, and managing resources.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Displays a sense of ownership of the location to ensure its overall success and client satisfaction by ensuring the facility is properly maintained and clean, necessary supplies are available, and a high level of service is provided.
- Builds trusted relationships with clients through courteous and concerned approach to meeting client needs.
- Opens and closes deposit accounts, electronic products, and installment loans.
- Resolves client problems and complaints in person, via phone, and via chat with courtesy and discretion and directs clients with difficult problems to other sources for assistance.
- Through a deep understanding of bank products and services, uncovers needs and makes recommendations to clients and prospects in person, via phone, and via chat .
- Cashes checks, deposits checks and cash into client accounts, and accepts loan payments.
- Executes daily balancing procedures systematically, efficiently, and accurately.
- Assists clients within the safe deposit area.
- Counts and balances ITM as required.
- Provides support to Branch Manager to carry out the strategic plan for the branch.
- Protects the bank and clients by following company policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in business, finance or related field
- Two years customer service experience, banking experience preferred
