EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree required; Instructional Technology certification (State or ACSI) is preferred. Minimum of five (5) years classroom teaching experience in Christian education preferred. A working knowledge of differentiating school curricula to meet student needs..
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Implement grade and age-level-appropriate applications of educational technology in the classroom to support, enhance, and increase student learning.
- Research and implement best practices in educational technology and create lessons that will incorporate learning goals.
- Provide enrichment support for students functioning on or above grade level.
- Assist in providing ongoing professional development for teachers to support the use of technology for classroom instruction at differentiated levels to meet all students' needs.
- Model educational technology strategies for teachers demonstrating best practices and research-based instruction with students.
- Ensure consistent implementation of school curriculum initiatives as it applies to technology.
- Maintain a program of individual professional growth.
- Promote FBA and the principles of Kingdom Education.
- Participate in spiritual activities at FBA such as prayer, devotions, Bible study and chapel.
- Complete all reporting duties and other paperwork assigned.
- Prepare Lesson Plans for all instructional activities.
- Maintain proper classroom discipline.
- Schedule conferences with parents or students as needed.
- Observe the Matthew 18 principle in conflict resolution.
- Fulfill all duties as assigned by the school administration.
