First Baptist Church, Forsyth, GA
FBCF is a Baptist church located in Forsyth, GA, 20 miles northwest of Macon. We have, on average, 100 members who attend every Sunday who are in prayer for a lead pastor to guide and direct our congregation to glorify Jesus. Our blended Sunday service brings together contemporary and traditional elements in order to provide a complete worship experience. We are duly affiliated with CBF and SBC.
Job Description:
First Baptist Church Forsyth is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Lead Pastor for Teaching and Learning. This role is pivotal in guiding our congregation through spiritual growth and educational development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking sermons that align with biblical teachings.
- Develop and oversee educational programs and Bible study groups for all age levels.
- Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care to the congregation.
- Collaborate with church staff and leadership to plan and execute church activities and events.
- Mentor and support church members in their spiritual journeys.
Qualifications:
- A deep and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- A degree in theology, divinity, or a related field.
- Previous experience in pastoral leadership or teaching roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the mission and values of First Baptist Church Forsyth.
Salary:
$80,000-$125,000 is the expected range; however, salary is commensurate on experience and/or education.
