Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in a variety of settings, including private schools, and possess a strong background in early childhood education. This role involves nurturing young minds, fostering a love for learning, and implementing effective curriculum development strategies tailored to the needs of toddlers and preschool-aged children.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards through visual, auditory, and kinesthetic aids.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster strong relationships and promote student success.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies as needed to meet diverse learning needs.
- Provide care and supervision for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices in teaching.
Physical
- Able to carry and lift up to 25 pounds (including tarps, mats, tables, chairs, etc.) on a regular basis.
- Able to sit on the floor for circle time and activity centers.
- Able to kneel and bend.
- Able to carry out duties such as washing and disinfecting shelves, toys, mats, tarps, etc.
- Able to work with bleach and other chemicals.
Experience
- Proven experience working with students in a classroom setting.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and fellow educators.
- Experience in behavior management strategies to create a conducive learning atmosphere.
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with significant relevant experience.
