Cost Accountant

1. Coordinate internal inventory audits.
2. Prepare and record month end accounting entries related to cost and inventory.
3. Review monthly financial statements and general ledger to report on manufacturing costs and variances.
4. Performs monthly perpetual inventory reconciliation to general ledger.
5. Prepare financial month end deliverables.
6. Assist during year end or quarterly external audits.
7. Performs data analysis using ODBC reporting tools as required to perform job duties or as requested by management staff.
8. Work closely with various departments, such as general accounting, engineering, operations, and supply chain.
9. Assists other employees with information and/or analysis when requested.
10. Other Ad Hoc reports or assignments.

Experience/Education/Qualifications

Required:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
2. 3 years supporting a manufacturing business
3. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

Desired:

1. 3 years of Cost accounting
2. 3 years using ERP systems
3. Experience with automotive manufacturing
4. Willing to travel
