Responsibilities
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing Design Validation (DV) and Production Verification (PV) test plans, coordinating workflow with outside test labs, ensuring compliance to requirements, and writing reports.
- Assisting the software and electrical engineering teams along with technicians and manufacturing engineers with documentation of compliance to defined processes throughout the development cycle.
- Designing and releasing electronic modules to meet requirements of new applications and customer needs.
- Developing and creating hardware design documentation, specifications, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and Work Content Control Analysis (WCCA) documents.
- Performing and/or assisting technicians in circuit simulation and generating lab data to support the design approval process.
- Evaluating design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
- DIRECTING AND COORDINATING BUILDING OF PROTOTYPE PARTS.
- SUPPORTING WARRANTY RETURN AND PLANT REJECT ANALYSIS TO DETERMINE ROOT CAUSE AND DRIVE PRODUCT IMPROVEMENTS.
The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time and on budget.
