Job Description:
Job Title: Equipment Technician III
Job Overview: We’re seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Equipment Technician to join our team. In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our machinery and material handling equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, a commitment to safety, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and material handling equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Replace defective parts and components as necessary to maintain equipment reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance equipment reliability, performance, and efficiency.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other maintenance staff, including training and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Equipment Technician, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in maintaining and repairing various manufacturing machinery and material handling equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Hands-on experience with battery and propane material handling equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V, Allen Bradley PLCs, and 4-20mA sensors.
- Familiarity with conveyor systems and their maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Electrical or Mechanical Technology, or similar field.
- Experience working with automated systems and robotics
