Bringing a refined and comfortable Japanese accommodation style, it redefines the concept of luxury capsule hotels for the Hawaii market.

Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role for a Housekeeping Staff at FIRST CABIN HAWAII LLC, located in Honolulu, HI. Housekeeping Staff will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the property, including guest rooms, shared Shower and Toilet Areas, Sauna, and Lounge Area. This role focuses on ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests by managing daily cleaning tasks, inventory, and basic maintenance while adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities :

1) Guest Room Maintenance :

  • Clean and sanitize capsule units, replace linens, and ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards before guest check-in.
  • Inspect and maintain capsule room equipment, such as reading lights and USB ports, and report any damages.

2) Shower and Toilet Area Maintenance :

  • Regularly clean and sanitize shared Shower and Toilet Areas.
  • Replenish toiletries and bathroom amenities, such as soap, shampoo, and tissues.
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of shared facilities throughout the day with periodic inspections.
  • 3) Sauna Maintenance :

  • Clean and sanitize the Sauna Area, including benches and floors.
  • Monitor and adjust sauna temperature as required to maintain a comfortable environment.
  • Inspect and report any maintenance or safety issues.
  • 4) Lounge and Public Area :

  • Clean and organize the Lounge Area and other shared spaces, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Empty trash bins, manage waste disposal, and maintain overall tidiness in shared areas.
  • 5) Inventory and Supplies Management :

  • Manage linen inventory, including tracking usage, reporting shortages, and coordinating restocking.
  • Monitor and replenish amenities such as toiletries, towels, and guest supplies.
  • Organize and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring proper storage and usage.
  • 6) Waste Management :

  • Dispose of trash and recyclables following established waste management protocols.
  • Ensure garbage disposal areas are clean and orderly.
  • 7) Team Collaboration :

  • Communicate effectively with the front desk and other team members to coordinate guest requests and room turnovers.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and service quality.
  • 8) Special Projects :

  • Assist with deep-cleaning tasks, such as carpet cleaning or furniture maintenance, as assigned.
  • Qualifications :

    1) Technical Skills :

  • Strong housekeeping skills with experience in using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
  • Ability to maintain and monitor specialized areas, such as saunas and shared Shower Areas.
  • 2) Experience :

  • Prior experience in hospitality or housekeeping is a plus.
  • Training experience or willingness to mentor new team members is an advantage.
  • 3) Abilities :

  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • 4) Education :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Working Hours :

  • Shift-based schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required. Example shifts : 8 : 00 AM–4 : 00 PM / 2 : 00 PM–10 : 00 PM
