Production Manager – Bilingual (English & Spanish)
Location : Indianapolis, IN
Salary : $95,000 per year, 15 days of vacation, plus 5 days of PTO

First Call Direct Hire is recruiting for one of our great clients, a growing startup in the manufacturing industry. We are seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily plant operations, drive efficiency, and ensure quality and safety standards are met. This role requires a strong background in production management, manufacturing processes, and plant leadership. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing plant operations, optimizing production processes, and leading teams to success. Familiarity with IATF 16949 standards is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities :
- Production Oversight : Manage day-to-day production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety goals are met.
- Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production supervisors and operators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Quality Control : Ensure production meets IATF 16949 and other industry standards, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Process Optimization : Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance production workflows using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Planning & Scheduling : Develop production schedules and ensure materials and resources are available to meet demand.
- Budget Management : Track expenses, manage production costs, and adjust plans as needed to stay within budget.
- Safety & Compliance : Promote a culture of safety, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with all safety protocols.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with HR, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain to align production goals with overall business objectives.
