Key Responsibilities:
- Use our database management software for order processing, scheduling tests, monitor tracking, handling account questions, and other general office duties.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and efficient patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update patient information in the electronic medical records system.
- Ensure that all patient information is kept confidential and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Handle patient complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or customer service role.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
- The ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
