As part of First Call Urology, you’ll provide care and support for patients with conditions including:
- Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)
- Erectile Dysfunction
- Urinary Incontinence
- Prostate Cancer Screening
- Recurrent Urinary Tract Infections
- Initial Hematuria (Blood in the Urine) workup
- Low Testosterone Levels
- Urinary Frequency and Urgency
Responsibilities
- Perform virtual consultations, evaluations, and initial management for various outpatient urologic conditions.
- Implement personalized treatment plans based on AUA guidelines.
- Educate patients on their condition, empowering them with information and resources to make informed health decisions.
- Order and interpret lab tests, imaging, and other diagnostics as needed.
- Coordinate care with local urologists who require surgical intervention or in-person evaluation to ensure continuity and comprehensive follow-up care.
Qualifications
- Licensed Physician Associate (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with urology experience.
- Board certification and relevant state licensure.
- Experience in telemedicine or comfort with virtual consultations is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards.
