This position provides general IT support to an 86-person staff and will be primarily based in Summerville, SC. Occasional travel to work sites elsewhere in South Carolina, and in North Carolina, will be required.
EDUCATION & SKILLS
- College degree/technical education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Knowledge of Active Directory environment, Office 365, and Windows Operating Systems
- Networking knowledge and Meraki switches management experience are preferred
- Demonstrates a positive and productive attitude
- Manages to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Manages competing demands, frequent changes, and uses time effectively
- Willingness to learn
- Industry certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) are preferred
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and configure computers and peripheral equipment (scanners, printers, etc.)
- Efficiently analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve IT HelpDesk tickets
- Provide initial contact support for all IT HelpDesk inquiries
- Ensure completion of routine software and hardware updates
- Analyze and diagnose software and hardware issues
- Maintain an updated inventory of all IT equipment
- Occasional in-person completion of IT projects at other work sites
Salary : $55,000 - $62,000
