Room Inspector

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Room Inspector to join our team at Hampton Inn-New Bern. As a Room Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and meet our high standards of quality. You will work closely with our housekeeping team to inspect rooms, identify areas that require attention, and ensure that all policies and procedures are followed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of the job
• Ability to lift and push up to 50 pounds
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent guest service
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify areas that require attention

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a related field
• Knowledge of hotel policies and operations
• Ability to pull up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities:

• Inspect guest rooms to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and comfort
• Identify areas that require attention and work with the housekeeping team to address any issues
• Ensure that all policies and procedures related to room inspections are followed
• Communicate with the front desk and other hotel staff to ensure that guest needs are met
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager

Skills:

As a Room Inspector, you will use your strong attention to detail and ability to identify areas that require attention to ensure that our guest rooms meet our high standards of quality. You will also use your excellent communication skills to work closely with the housekeeping team, front desk, and other hotel staff to ensure that guest needs are met. Additionally, you will use your physical abilities to lift and push up to 50 pounds and pull up to 50 pounds as needed to perform your duties. Overall, your skills will be essential in ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Hampton Inn-New Bern.
