What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teller position at First Central Credit Union?
We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Teller in the Financial Services industry with First Central Credit Union.
As a Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while performing a variety of financial transactions. You will have the opportunity to interact with customers daily, providing them with account information, processing deposits and withdrawals, and assisting with other banking needs.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies to the supervisor
- Assist customers with account inquiries, providing them with account balances and transaction history
- Cross-sell banking products and services, such as credit cards and loans, to meet customers' financial needs
- Adhere to all banking regulations and company policies to ensure the security and confidentiality of customer information
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on banking procedures and policies

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or cash handling preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of banking products and services
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite
- **Bi-lingual SPANISH required** .50 additional pay per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $13.13 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
