First Children Services is currently seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team! We are a family-owned, family-operated, and family-focused organization. Our STRIVE Autism Center is a multi-site, behavioral health and ABA center. At STRIVE, we provide diagnostic evaluations, followed by evidence-based therapeutic services such as psychotherapy and ABA. While also providing full circle support through behavioral parent training and outreach. We are a passionate and dynamic group; unique for our eclectic, fun, and collaborative spirit while still adhering to a high-quality, evidence-based practice. Our STRIVE centers are not like any other. Our motto is for children to be in a happy, relaxed, and engaged environment to optimize learning. When you enter our center, it embodies everything you would have wanted as a kid coupled with ABA professionals implementing therapeutic services. Our Strive Centers comprise up to 10 playrooms, including art therapy, music therapy, sensory room, gross motor room, circle time area, plus much more! We’ve created an environment where our clients and staff love to be, resulting in better outcomes.
Day to Day primary functions:
- Coordinate with all instructional treatment team members
- Provide consultation within the schools in conjunction with administrators, child study team members, teachers , and other school personnel
- Participate in family meetings and conduct parent trainings/family guidance
- Provide interactive therapeutic solutions to reduce maladaptive behaviors
- Utilize applied behavior analysis to develop a functional, individualized behavioral program
- Provide direct training and supervision to clinical support team and technicians
- Manage client data
What we require from you:
- Master's degree in psychology, special education, or related field
- Active BCBA Certification
- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
- 2 years of experience working with children on the Autism spectrum
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments
- Create programs and Behavior Intervention plans.
- Complete skill assessments: ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP and AFLS
- Provide parent training
- Practical support and leadership skills
