What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst position at First Children Services?
Location: Abington, Montgomeryville, and surrounding areas
Work Status: Full Time and Part Time available
Service Setting: Both Clinic and District Available
FCS is also a Pennsylvania Department of Education and Clinic and Agency, approved provider for district and clinic services. We provide services to public, private, and charter schools, including ABA, consultation and mental health support. Our staff take a collaborative approach by regularly partnering with the child study team members, teachers, guidance counselors, and administration to progress towards the best possible outcome for the school community. BCBA Day to Day primary functions:
- Coordinate with all instructional treatment team
- Provide consultation within the schools in conjunction with administrators, child study team members, teachers and other school personnel
- Participate in family meetings and conduct parent trainings
- Provide interactive therapeutic solutions to extinguish or minimize maladaptive behaviors
- Conduct behavior analysis to develop a functional, individualized behavioral program
- Provide direct training and supervision to clinical support team
- Manage client data
What we require from you:
- Master's degree in psychology, special education, or related field
- Active BCBA Certification
- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
- 2 years of experience working with children on the Autism spectrum
- Conduct functional Behavioral Assessments
- Create programs and Behavior Intervention plans.
- Complete skill assessments: ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP and AFLS
- Provide parent training.
- Practical support and leadership skills
