· Assists the Central Billing Supervisor in billing of patient, third party/other program, medical, dental, and behavioral health claims and chart auditing by creating objectives, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and collaborating with central billing employees.
· To assist the Central Billing Supervisor with communications to all central billing; staff, job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions for payment of all services; enforcing all medical, dental and behavioral health billing policies and procedures including clinical coding and chart auditing protocols.
· To assist the Central Billing Supervisor with medical, dental and behavioral health billing operational objectives by contributing information and analysis and strategies. Implementing staff productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements; analyzing variances; scheduling staff activities towards the same goals and implementing change when necessary.
· Assists the Central Billing Supervisor in meeting medical, dental and behavioral health billing aged accounts receivable objectives by implementing goals and deadlines for all billing staff while maximizing all FCCH payer reimbursement through a systematic and timely method of filing electronic and paper claims and following up on denials and pended claims and unbilled encounters.
· Assists the Central Billing Supervisor with accuracy of provider clinical progress and or SOAP notes in accordance with medical, dental and behavioral health transactions (charges, payments and adjustments) created in encounter batches. With the goal of reconciling patient accounts with patient clinical documentation.
