HR Generalist
Human Resources – Administration Office, Arkansas
1st Choice Home Care is a private care agency dedicated to providing exceptional in-home care services for seniors and disabled individuals throughout Northeast Arkansas. We are currently seeking an HR Generalist to join our team at our Administration Office. This role will focus on performing core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and performance reviews. The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting our staff, improving our hiring processes, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews for various positions
- Lead onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Coordinate and track performance reviews
- Assist with developing and delivering training for new and existing staff
- Ensure HR processes are in compliance with state and federal laws
- Support employee relations and help resolve workplace issues
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
- Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
- Collaborate with supervisors and office leadership to support staffing needs
- Travel occasionally to satellite offices as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; or equivalent HR experience
- Solid understanding of HR practices and employment law compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience handling sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive (HRIS experience a plus)
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
(Occasional travel to nearby satellite offices required)
Compensation:
$18–$21 per hour starting pay, depending on experience
(With opportunity for growth based on performance and tenure)
