Your duties and responsibilities will vary from patient to patient. Some duties and responsibilities are:
Assess the patients needs and initiate the Plan of Care paperwork. Provide skilled nursing care to include: IV fluids, medications, catheterization and skilled wound care. Prepare clinical and progress notes, including discharge paperwork. Inform the physician and other staff of your client's changing needs. Assign Home Health aides as needed, to your patient. Oversee LPNs and Home Health aides providing services to your patient.
Qualifications:
- RN License
- Wound care experience
- Catheterization skills
- Basic life support certification
- EMR and EHR systems familiarity
- Patient care expertise
- Ability in patient assessment
- Home Health Nursing background
