Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the leasing process, ensuring that prospective residents receive exceptional service while adhering to all relevant regulations and policies. This position requires a blend of customer service skills, knowledge of property leasing, and an understanding of fair housing laws.
Duties
- Assist prospective tenants with inquiries about available units and leasing terms.
- Conduct property tours, highlighting key features and benefits to potential residents.
- Process rental applications and conduct background checks in compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and lease agreements using property management software.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Utilize Resman for managing resident information and lease documentation.
Skills
- Strong understanding of property leasing processes and legal requirements, including Fair Housing regulations.
- Experience with customer relationship management systems to enhance resident interactions.
- Proficiency in Resman management software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with potential tenants and team members.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on building positive relationships with residents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.31 - $16.82 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
