Maintenance Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of a 300 unit multi-family property. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills with a solid background in supervising and ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising maintenance staff while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
• Oversee and be able to make repairs in plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, air conditioning and heating, and appliances
• Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
• Assist with apartment inspections, grounds work (when necessary), maintaining supplies and materials inventories, and in any area where needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a maintenance supervisor or similar role.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams.
• Proficiency in all basic areas of maintenance repairs
• Ability to read and write English and have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to challenges.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all staff.
• Must be HVAC certified and have valid driver's license.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
