First Choice Nannies is assisting a family in their search for a reliable and caring Part-Time Nanny for their 2.5-year-old child. The family is seeking a nanny who is experienced with toddlers, pet-friendly (they have four dogs), and comfortable handling light household tasks. This role requires a trustworthy, dependable professional who meets specific health and safety qualifications.
Position Details:
Start Date: February 17, 2025
Schedule:
- Monday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- Wednesday: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Hours Per Week: 25-30 hours
Compensation: $25-$30/hour
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for the 2.5-year-old child.
- Prepare or warm up meals and snacks for the child, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
- Assist with potty training and encourage independence.
- Perform light household chores during nap times, including tidying play areas, organizing toys, child-related laundry, and dishes.
- Plan and engage the child in age-appropriate activities, such as reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
- Support the child’s developmental milestones through educational and stimulating play.
- Manage the child’s daily routine, including meal times, nap schedules, and diaper changes as needed.
- Monitor and ensure safe interaction between the child and the family’s four dogs.
- Communicate regularly with parents about the child’s progress, activities, and any concerns.
Qualifications:
- CPR and First Aid certification (required).
- Up-to-date on TDAP, MMR, and whooping cough vaccinations.
- COVID-19 vaccination is a plus but not required.
- Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) and willingness to undergo a background check and potential drug testing.
- Experience caring for toddlers, with a strong understanding of developmental milestones.
- Comfortable working in a home with four dogs.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Trustworthy, dependable, patient, and compassionate.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
