Hours of Operations:
7am-7pm Monday thru Friday
9am-5:30pm Saturday
Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver preferably with their own wheelchair van to join our team. As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers that are ambulatory and or wheelchair ridden to their destinations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive vehicle (must have own vehicle)
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers during transit
- Communicate effectively with passengers to ensure a pleasant transportation experience
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, Background check goes back 7 years
- Ability to communicate effectively with passengers
- Ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
Required Certification:
- CPR/First Aid certification (We can provide class)
- PASS certification (We can provide class)
- Defensive Driving certification (We can provide class)
-Wheel Chair Certificate (We can provide class)
- DOT (Physical) - Done at an Urgent care spot
