POSITION REQUIRES AVAILABILITY FOR 12 HOUR SHIFTS (7A-7P AND / OR 7P-7A)

REQUIREMENTS :

Covid Vaccination.

Minimum of 1 year experience.

BLS / CPR Certification.

Updated PPD (within 1 year).

Active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) credential.

Ability to lift at least 50 pounds without restrictions.

Capability to stand and walk for long hours without restrictions.

Proficiency in bending and lifting without restrictions.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

As a caring professional, you will provide essential care to patients in a respectful and considerate manner. Our ideal candidates will be both qualified and compassionate individuals dedicated to delivering diverse basic care while maintaining patience and calmness under pressure. This physically demanding role requires strength and stamina, but it can be immensely rewarding.

LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to) :

Delegate responsibilities to CNAs to ensure optimal patient care.

Administer medications and treatments according to the Medication Administration Record (MAR) and Treatment Administration Record (TAR), adhering to MD orders.

Provide wound care while following MD instructions.

Facilitate patient admissions or discharges in accordance with facility protocols and MD orders.

Conduct ongoing assessments on patients following MD directives.

Communicate medication and treatment plans to patients and their families while adhering to HIPAA and facility protocols.

Familiarity with G-tubes, nebulizer treatments, and comfort with tracheostomy care.

SKILLS :

Proven experience as a CNA or LPN.

Able to perform various care tasks and thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology and hospital protocols.

Proficient in MS Office and data entry tasks.

Excellent physical condition and stamina.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate demeanor and ability to manage stress effectively.

Successful completion of the LPN or CNA program is essential.
