JOIN OUR TEAM! We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for exciting per diem and local contract opportunities with our partner facilities. Qualified candidates will work 12-hour shifts, either 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. We are especially looking for those who are local to Norfolk, VA.

REQUIREMENTS :
Covid Vaccination Required
Minimum of 1 Year Experience
BLS / CPR Certification
Updated PPD Within the Last Year
Active LPN License
Physical Ability to Lift at Least 50 Pounds
Ability to Stand and Walk for Extended Periods
Capability to Bend and Lift Without Restrictions
JOB DESCRIPTION : As an LPN, you will provide professional and compassionate care to your patients. This demanding yet rewarding role involves :
Delegating duties to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to deliver the highest level of patient care
Administering medications and treatments in compliance with medical orders
Providing wound care per physicians’ directives
Admitting or discharging patients following facility protocol
Conducting ongoing patient assessments
Explaining medications and treatments to patients and families while adhering to HIPAA guidelines
Becoming familiar with G-tubes, nebulizer treatments, and handling tracheostomy patients
SKILLS :
Proven experience as an LPN or CNA
Ability to perform diverse care tasks and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards and practices
Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
Proficient in MS Office and data entry
Strong physical condition and stamina
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, and stress management skills
Completion of an accredited LPN or CNA program is mandatory
