QUALIFICATIONS :

Covid Vaccination required.

Minimum of 1 year experience as an LPN.

BLS / CPR Certification.

Current PPD test (within last year).

Active LPN License (Virginia).

Able to lift at least 50 pounds without restrictions.

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to bend and lift without restrictions.

Updated immunizations required.

Clean background check essential.

JOB OVERVIEW :

As a Telemetry Floor Nurse, you will care for patients with professionalism and empathy. We seek qualified and compassionate individuals to provide diverse basic care to those in need while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure. The role is physically demanding but immensely rewarding.

LPN RESPONSIBILITIES :

Delegate duties to CNAs to ensure quality care.

Administer medications and treatments according to MAR and TAR, following MD orders.

Provide wound care as per physician's directions.

Conduct patient admissions and discharges in line with facility protocols.

Perform ongoing patient assessments per MD orders.

Educate patients and families about medications / treatments by adhering to HIPAA regulations and facility guidelines.

Familiarity with G-tubes, nebulizer treatments, and comfort with tracheostomies required.

SKILLS REQUIRED :

Proven experience as an LPN.

Ability to perform a variety of nursing tasks while collaborating in a multidisciplinary team.

Understanding of hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Knowledge of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.

Proficient in medical terminology and hospital routines.

Good computer skills, including MS Office and data entry.

Strong physical stamina and excellent condition.

Superb communication and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate nature with the ability to manage stress effectively.
