Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition by conducting physical examinations and reviewing medical history.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and needs.
- Instruct and advise patients on therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities as necessary.
- Maintain patient records by documenting their conditions, therapies, and responses.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to plan, manage, and assess patient treatments.
- Modify patient treatment plans as progress or setbacks occur.
- Provide information to patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
- Supervise staff (PTA and Tech) to ensure clean, efficient, and safe operational standards.
- Stay updated with advancements in physical therapy techniques to modernize care and treatment.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local certification requirements and practice ethical standards of the physical therapy profession.
