Warehouse Quality Control Associate

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of quality assurance processes, as well as the ability to analyze and inspect products effectively. The Quality Control Associate will work closely with order pickers and the quality control speacialist to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Duties

• Conduct thorough quality inspections of products using various tools, including calipers and micrometers.
• Utilize vision inspection systems to identify defects and ensure product integrity.
• Analyze inspection data and report findings to management for continuous improvement.
• Implement and adhere to quality assurance protocols, including HACCP and ISO 9001 standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and develop corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and compliance with quality systems.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on quality control methodologies.

Experience

• Previous experience in a QA/QC role or similar position is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately.
• Performs quality control (QC) functions, including checking pallets for construction integrity, identifying mis picks and misplaced cases and audit orders for accuracy.
• Conduct randomized audits of outgoing shipments, inventory storage, and various warehouse processes to ensure they consistently follow our quality standards, and sharing feedback with proper teams.
• Advise of any broken, damaged, mislabeled products, or incorrect quantities to ensure that we ship the correct order to our customer.
• Utilize WMS/shipping management software to support inventory, shipping, and billing activities.
• Review individual orders to determine correct quantities, packing, and general accuracy of selected orders.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $15.63 - $18.00 per hour
