IT Systems Service Technician - DIRECT HIRE

Oriskany, NY

Full Time, 1st Shift, 8:00am to 5:00pm

$40,000.00 - $50,000.00/year

The IT Systems Service Technician is responsible for providing and ensuring secure PC, desktop, network, telecom and related services throughout the organizations affiliate companies. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Oriskany, NY.

Duties and Responsibilities:

o  Configure and maintain company's computers, servers, networks, enterprise software and security systems.
o  Manage and implement network infrastructure.
o  Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and assignments in an ever-changing and unpredictable workload environment.
o  Create and manage system permissions and user accounts.
o  Deploy new and/or upgrading existing equipment & software.
o  Optimize internal IT infrastructure for greater productivity.
o  Ensure rapid response and smooth operation of IT services.

Qualifications:

o  Knowledge of Microsoft Servers.
o  Knowledge of manageable switches with a fiber backbone.
o  Experience with DNS and DHCP servers.
o  Must have exceptional attention to detail.
o  Strong organizational and time management skills.
o  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o  Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
o  Excellent problem resolution skills.
o  Dependable, with strong work ethic.

Requirements:

o Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field, AND at least 3 years of hands-on experience working with and supporting Microsoft and networking environments.

o Strong knowledge of current common infrastructure solutions and PC software products

IMPORTANT: Wage rate will be commensurate with position, shift worked, experience, education, and required skill level.
