Landscape Laborer – Utica, NY
Full Time
Temp to Hire 7a to 3:30p Mon-Fri
$16.50/hr.
Must have landscaping experience, reliable transportation to work and steel toe boots
Job Duties:
-Operate riding or push mowers and string trimmers.
-Grading, seeding, watering, fertilization
-Trimming small trees/shrubs
-Removal or trash and debris
-Clear walkways and access to burial sites
-Raise and level monuments and headstones that have become sunken
-Employee will be working in multiple cemeteries on a daily basis (transportation will be provided)
-Lifting requirements up to 50 lbs.
Heavy Equipment Experience a big plus!
Additional Details:
Once position goes permanent, employee will be expected to be involved in work related to interment of remains. Duties such as open/close graves, cover graves, assist with carrying caskets when requested, cleaning interior of crypt, sealing chambers.
